I was just cruising around my local Microcenter today and I find these 3 rare pis available! Does this mean the great pi shortage is finally over? One can only hope so!

Despite being around for years, I’ve never actually had a chance to own a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W and 3A+. They we’re just too rare to find randomly. I’ve had a number of Zero Ws before which we’re practically being given away at $5 each before the pandemic. They we’re fun for small builds that required very little power.
For the star of the show but has no actual purpose (if I think about it really, this habit of buying pis when I see them also serves no real purpose 😂), I installed ubuntu on. It was amazing. Just amazing. Tiny little box like this that can run full desktop ubuntu. Just wonderful. Why would anyone need to spend $80 for the pi 5, $20 for the case and fan and $10 for a weirdo 5V 5A charger? Who cares?!? It’s awesome 🤣

I decided to use the pi 3A+ as a replacement for my 3D printer remote web camera. That used to be the job of a pi 4 with an HQ wide angle camera.
For the pi zero 2 W, I plan to upgrade my Attack on Titan ODM gear wall speakers from a pi zero W as that thing can’t even support spotify streaming. We built this for the last year’s comic con and now it lives on the wall as a bad (but loud) remote speaker but unfortunately raspotify is not supported on the ARMv6. I’ll blog about that when I get to it.
Here’s a couple of other projects I’ve built using pi zeros but I think they don’t deserve an upgrade 😂:
