As a parent I always worry about his future and him making mistakes in life. These freestyle jam sessions remind me of how he is growing up to be an independent person who makes his own choices and mistakes without me telling him what is right or wrong. I often tell him during these sessions that there are no right or wrong notes but remember that there are notes that sound good depending on the situation. I wish he grows up to take life the same way. There will be good times and bad times. He just needs to do what he knows and feels is the right thing to do during those times and go with the flow.
